  1. Water Hydrant Flushing

    Water hydrant flushing begins on April 17. During flushing lines may create a yellowish to brownish discoloration of water in homes near flushing areas. If this discoloration lasts longer than two days, residents are asked to call the City's Utility Department at 763-295-3170.

  2. No Mow May

    May 1, 2022 - May 31, 2022, 9:00 PM

    On Monday, March 28 City Council approved ‘No Mow May’ in Monticello and suspended nuisance enforcement in relation to grass lengths (weed lengths will still be enforced) per City Ordinance 91.06 for the month of May. The goal of No Mow May is to allow grass to grow unmown for the month of May, creating habitat and forage for early season pollinators. Please note: if you plan on participating, enforcement will resume June 1 and all lawns must be maintained.
