Following the adoption of the Downtown Small Area Plan, the City Council approved moving forward with a more specific planning effort for the Walnut Street Corridor to help achieve the second goal of the plan: shift the center of downtown to Broadway and Walnut.
The plan was developed through a series of public meetings, both formal workshops and informal community engagement activities in town.
