The Monticello Streets Department is committed to ensuring that Monticello's roadways, streets and other public thoroughfares are constructed and maintained to ensure the safety of residents and visitors.

Boulevard Tree Trimming
"Boulevard Trees" are trees located at the curbside or in the road right-of-way, and they are currently the responsibility of the abutting property owner as per City Ordinance Section 70.24.

Streetlights in Monticello are either owned by Xcel Energy or Wright Hennepin Electric.
